The food is delicious, but the portions are too small. I am a person who has small portions in general, but after paying 600 nok for a meal with a beer I didn't expect to leave still hungry. This feedback comes from a good place.
Definitely one of the worst restaurants I’ve been to in Bergen. Slow service, luke warm and bland food. Unpleasant manager. She asked whether the fish was good. I replied that it was not great. She tried to get me to elaborate, and just kept staring at me. Eventually she asked if the fish was bad, and no it had not gone bad, but it was cold and had some flavourless thick sauce. She eventually said, well it’s my favourite dish. I think that says everything about their food. Then the manager kept offering us dessert since we were unhappy with the fish, but we had been waiting for our food at the restaurant for ages, and just wanted to get out of there. That being said, the fish was deducted from our bill, but we were all unhappy with the food, not just the two of us that had the fish. We went to the restaurant to celebrate my birthday, and it was such a let down. Needless to say, we won’t be back!
One of the best Mexican meals we have ever had, having eaten in London, Cuba and Mexico! Outstanding service from Martin our waiter. Very attentive, friendly and professional. He was kind enough to decorate the table for my husband's birthday! The food was 10/10 (had the tasting menu plus tacos). We will be visiting again!
The foods amazing the great food of it it's really authentic Mexican food for lunch dinner and anything cuisine that you are going to enjoy I was eating so fast, inn love with it I was eating so fast I couldn't get enough out of it the places huge and definitely comfortable more than enough to come in and go out and take it take Away it's a very good place for passionate dinner for a couple or or in business and ethics and principles when you want to discuss with your CEOs
Fantastic food and service. I went back a second time to get the carajillo...its great - get it. I learned that this is their new location in Bergen... it worth a stop. The night prior we went for dinner (cochinita, quesadilla, enchiladas - guacamole.) Service and ambiance are great. Food is very well prepared. The creative play on dishes and the decor make this a great stop. You will leave satisfied.
Super good Mexican food. We live in California and this may still be the best mole we've had outside of Mexico. Fun intro of some local ingredients, but still hits the classic flavors. People were very nice and so excited to share their food, really enjoyed our evening with them.
Main dishes arrived before the starter and all the food was cold! We waited over 40 minutes to hear that pur order was forgotten. Our waitress put the blame on the fact that the evening was busy, but somehow three tables were free. We were told that the starter will be deducted from the bill and that we will get 50% discount. We decided to stay and finish the meal, but the final bill had only 10% discount… Portions were small and food was definitely overpriced.
This was surprisingly the best Mexican food I have had outside of Mexico. A cozy restaurant with a nice decor and very welcoming staff. The Mole Agave was excellent and definitely a must-try. The mole sauce was truly flavourful and complex in taste - ingredients included chili, nuts, chocolate and mezcal, and it even brought an aftertaste. The venison exceeded my expectation as well (I am never a fan of this type of meat), it was simply tender and juicy. I also had the ceviche rojo as the starter. This slightly chilly and sour dish was really appetising and great to be complimented by the crispy totopos. Lovely drinks and friendly staff who gave me quite a detailed introduction to their food.
